ART | library deco WIKIMEDIA Edit-Thons
Collaborative series created to help improve and create Wikipedia content about African American artists and history from Texas. No editing experienced is necessary and training is provided. Event series featured during February 2022 | Black History Month and June 2022 | Juneteenth Celebration. This event is presented by ART library deco with support from Wikimedia DC.

Richard Arvin Overton Research & Writing Project
Curator of research project about the life of Richard Arvin Overton, Austin, Texas. The project encompasses research, writing, and conducting oral histories about the oldest surviving World War II Veteran in the United States. Mr. Overton died at the age of 112 years old on Thursday, December 27, 2018.
